How to Encrypt PDF files using Adobe Pro

Notice: Please make sure to have the appropriate Adobe app installed before proceeding
- Open Adobe Pro application and choose the PDF you want to encrypt.
- On the top left portion of the screen click on "Tools".
- Scroll down till you see "Protect".
- Once you clicked on "Protect" you should see the option "Protect Using Password" on the top portion of the screen.
- Click on "Protect Using Password" and choose the appropriate settings and click "Apply".
- For more options click on "Advanced Options" on the bottom.
- You'll then see further options to set additional restrictions on the PDF to save the settings made click "Ok".
- The document should now be encrypted and can be opened with Adobe and other PDF readers. Upon opening, users will be prompted to type the password you just set.
